Banana Facial Mask - How to Prepare and Apply

Bananas are not only a great source of nutrients for our body, but also they can help our skin to look young and healthy when used in a facial mask. Bananas contain a lot of Vitamin C, A, B6 and B12, and also potassium and magnesium. Moreover, the fruit acids in bananas help to remove dead skin and energize the complexion.

How to make banana facial mask.

Mash a banana with 1 tablespoon of honey. The banana and honey have a firming and moisturizing effect on the skin, as well as a light exfoliation of dead skin cells.

It is very easy to do and... you have just prepared your banana facial mask. Now apply the mask to cleansed face and neck, but remember to avoid the eye area.

Leave the mask on for about 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

You can also Wheat Germ and Jojoba. In this case, cut a banana in half and mash it with a fork. You do not want it to become to runny. Now, add 1 tablespoon of wheat germ and ¼ tablespoon of soothing jojoba oil to exfoliate. Mix it all gently to combine the ingredients. Now put the mask on your face and neck (avoid the eye area). Leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse with warm and then cool water.

You could also add oatmeal to your banana facial mask. Oatmeal clams and moisturizes the skin. Simply mix a fairly large banana with ¼ to ½ cup of oatmeal. You can use oatmeal as is, but you can also grind it so it becomes a powder. Mix the oatmeal with the banana until it is moistened. The mixture should be thick and if it is too runny, add more oatmeal. Put the mask on your face and neck (remember to avoid the eye area) and leave for about 20 minutes. Remove the mask with a wash cloth and rinse off with warm water.

If you want to prevent scarring add Vitamin E Oil to your banana facial mask. Vitamin E is a well-known healing agent and helps clear up skin eruptions.

To make a banana facial mask with Vitamin E Oil, simply add 1/8 tablespoon to a mashed banana and stir.

Apply the mask to your face and neck (avoid the eye area) and leave for about 10 minutes. Rinse your face with warm water.
